BOHFS St. Louis joins Midwest Premier League for 2025 Season

The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) is pleased to announce BOHFS St. Louis as the latest addition to its growing roster of clubs. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, BOHFS St. Louis has been a fixture in the local lower league soccer scene and is now stepping up to join the MWPL’s Gateway Conference for the 2025 season.

Alen Bradaric, President of BOHFS St. Louis, expressed enthusiasm about the club’s new venture. “We are grateful and excited to be joining the Midwest Premier League. Our goal is to provide talented players in the St. Louis Metro a platform to showcase their abilities in a competitive setting,” Bradaric said.

The addition of BOHFS St. Louis further strengthens the MWPL’s presence in the St. Louis region, a hotbed for soccer talent and development. Chicago City Dutch Lions FC becomes the latest addition to the MWPL

The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) is proud to announce the addition of Chicago City Dutch Lions FC as the latest member of the league. Based in Chicago, Illinois, the club joins the MWPL following a significant development in its history: the merger of Chicago Dutch Lions FC and Chicago City Soccer Club, which was announced on January 8th of this year. The latter previously competed in the MWPL during the 2023 season, competing in the Heartland Conference.

Nick Mulvaney, Sporting Director of Chicago City Dutch Lions FC, expressed his enthusiasm for the club’s return to the MWPL. “We are excited to announce our return to this exceptional league, which has been a driving force in the growth and transformation of soccer in our region. The league’s remarkable progress, especially with the introduction of promotion and relegation, has elevated competition and created meaningful opportunities for players, coaches, fans, and executives.

This dynamic structure aligns with our club’s commitment to development and excellence, and we are proud to contribute to the league’s continued success. Together, we’re elevating the game and shaping a brighter future for soccer in our community,” Mulvaney said.

Steve Beckman, President of the Midwest Premier League, welcomed the club back to the competition. “Chicago City SC was competing for a Heartland Conference trophy towards the end of our 2023 season and should make this year’s race for promotion into Heartland Division 1 even more competitive, this time as Chicago City Dutch Lions” Beckman noted.

The rebranding and merger mark an exciting new chapter for the club, blending the rich traditions of both the Dutch Lions organization and Chicago City Soccer Club. The move strengthens the MWPL’s position as a platform for competitive soccer and player development in the Midwest region.

Warrior FC joins MWPL for 2025 season

The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) continues to expand as Warrior FC, based in Everly, Iowa, has been announced as the league’s newest member club. The addition of Warrior FC reflects the MWPL’s ongoing commitment to fostering competitive soccer across the Midwest and USASA’s Region II.

Warrior FC’s front office will be led by Brent Koppie as Owner and Tre Thomas as Head Coach. The club will offer supplemental tryouts in April 2025, providing an opportunity for aspiring players to showcase their talents and join the team for its inaugural MWPL campaign.

The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) is excited to announce Detroit Badgers FC as the latest addition to its roster of member clubs for the 2025 season. Based in Dearborn Heights, a suburb of Detroit, the club will play its home matches at Star International Academy. The addition of Detroit Badgers FC further strengthens the league’s presence in Michigan and the Great Lakes Conference.

Detroit Badgers FC’s leadership team features co-owners Joseph A. Brincat, Abbas Polat, and Mo Sye, who bring a wealth of experience and a shared vision for developing soccer in the local community. Linoma FC joins the Midwest Premier League for the 2025 season

The Midwest Premier League (MWPL) is thrilled to welcome Linoma FC as the newest member club ahead of the 2025 season. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Linoma FC brings a rich history and a community-driven approach to the league. Founded in 1986, the club has ample history competing in Nebraska’s state leagues and fostering local soccer talent.

Jordan Bartels, Chairman of Linoma FC, expressed the club’s enthusiasm for this new chapter: “We are looking forward to joining MWPL in 2025 and the coming years. RKC Third Coast II set to join the Midwest Premier League

RKC Third Coast II, based in Racine, Wisconsin, has been announced as the newest club to join the Midwest Premier League (MWPL) for the 2025 season. The club, which also competes in USL League Two, has rapidly established itself since its founding two years ago. With a mission to advance both male and female players into professional soccer, RKC Third Coast FC has already facilitated the professional careers of six players, both domestically and internationally, into leagues such as MLS Next Pro and other overseas competitions.

The club plays its home matches at The SC Johnson Athletic Complex at Pritchard Park in Racine, WI, and aims to use the MWPL as a developmental platform to further its mission.

“Adding a third team to compete in MWPL complements our USL League 2 and USL Academy Reserve programs for the men very well,” said Wayne Howard, owner of RKC Third Coast II. “It will serve as a bridge from high school and early college ages in the Academy on through to the first team. Younger college players can play in highly competitive matches while training with and around players preparing to enter the pro ranks shortly.”

MWPL welcomes FC Pontiac

FC Pontiac, a brand-new club based in Pontiac, Michigan, is set to join the Midwest Premier League’s Great Lakes Conference for the 2025 season. Despite being a newly-formed club, the Firebirds boast experienced leadership both on and off the field, positioning it to make an immediate impact in one of the league’s most competitive areas.

The coaching staff will be led by Head Coach Kevin Garner, who holds a USSF A License and has more than 20 years experience coaching youth and collegiate levels. Joining as Assistant Coach will be former collegiate player Daire O’Riordan, who holds a USSF C License and is currently an Assistant Coach at a local D1 university.

Wisner Stadium will be the home stadium for the club. This historic venue, a cornerstone of Pontiac’s sports culture, provides the perfect stage for competitive summer soccer and a vibrant community atmosphere.

Players ages 18-35 are invited to attend a series of tryout sessions, with the first two held at UWM Sports Complex on Monday, December 30 and Thursday, January 2nd. Registration for tryouts is available via the club’s website www.fcpontiac.com

Crawford’s extensive soccer background includes roles as Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Rush Soccer Club, Director of Coaching at Metro East Legacy, and assistant coach for McKendree University’s women’s soccer program.
